The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Group D exam is a national-level recruitment conducted by Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) on behalf of Indian Railways. It offers Class-10 passed candidates a direct entry into permanent Level-1 posts (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-1, ₹18,000–₹56,900) such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in Electrical/Mechanical/S&T departments, Pointsman, and other technical/non-technical roles across 20+ railway zones.
